This week we’re looking at another Speyside scotch, what a beauty! On the nose: you’ll enjoy the aroma of honey, vanilla, spices and aniseed, with hints of a malty nature coming through. On the palate: the honey, aniseed and spices will be confirmed. However, the taste of sweet cherry cake will start to emerge along with a very smooth creamy texture. The finish: is very smooth with very little alcohol kick.
The verdict: Cadenhead’s Longmorn-Glenlivet Eighteen Year Old Single Malt Scotch has such a beautiful flavour and texture to it and as with all single malt scotches – this is best enjoyed straight, or with a very small amount of mineral water to allow the flavours to breathe.
Cadenhead’s Longmorn-Glenlivet 18yo Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky can only be purchased from the Cadenhead’s whisky shop on Chiltern Street or on their online website for approx £59
